The brief
Remote Coffee set out to build a home for a specific community: coffee enthusiasts, remote workers, and digital nomads who wanted somewhere to connect, swap experiences, and find new coffee-related content. They needed the whole thing — a site that looked the part, worked well on any device, and stayed online without someone having to babysit it.
Rather than hire a designer, then a developer, then a hosting provider, then someone to keep it patched, they wanted one team to own the outcome from start to finish.
What we built
We designed and developed remote-coffee.com as a modern, content-led community site:
- A clean, uncluttered interface with navigation that got out of the way, so browsing and discovery felt effortless.
- A fully responsive layout that held up across phones, tablets, and desktops — the audience was mobile-heavy by nature.
- Performance work baked in from the start: fast page loads and a site that stayed quick as content grew.
How we ran it
Launch was the beginning, not the end. From 2021 through 2022 we handled hosting and technical maintenance as a single service:
- Reliable uptime, monitored so problems were caught before users noticed them.
- Security kept current — patches, hardening, and updates applied on a schedule rather than in a panic.
- Regular maintenance so the platform stayed healthy as it evolved.
The client never had to coordinate between a host, a developer, and a security contractor. One team was accountable for the site being up, fast, and safe.
The result
Remote Coffee ran in production for roughly two years with SolvForge responsible for every layer — design, build, hosting, and upkeep. It's the clearest example of what we mean by one team for the whole lifecycle: the people who built the site were the same people keeping it running, so there was never a gap for something to fall through.
