Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SolvForge (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you visit solvforge.com (the “Site”), contact us, or engage our services. SolvForge is the controller of the personal data described here.

1. What we collect

• Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, company, and the project details you provide through our contact and quotation forms, by email, or through the chat widget.
• Client and engagement data. If you engage us, the information needed to deliver the work — billing details, and access credentials to systems you ask us to work on (held only for the duration of the engagement).
• Usage data. Pages visited, referring URLs, approximate location, device and browser type, and interactions with the Site, collected through analytics and server logs.
• Cookies and similar technologies. See section 5.

2. How we use it

• to respond to your enquiry and provide a quote;
• to deliver, manage, and support services you engage us for;
• to send service-related communications and, where you have opted in, occasional updates;
• to operate, secure, and improve the Site;
• to keep records and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations;
• to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

3. Legal bases

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: your consent (for optional marketing and non-essential cookies); performance of a contract (to deliver services you request); our legitimate interests in running and improving our business and keeping the Site secure; and legal obligation (for record-keeping and compliance). You can withdraw consent at any time.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Site and our business, under contracts that require them to protect it:

• Google Analytics — website analytics;
• Brevo — the on-site chat widget and, if you opt in, email;
• Vercel — website hosting;
• an email delivery provider for transactional messages;
• professional advisers, and authorities where required by law.

5. Cookies

The Site uses cookies and similar storage for: essential functionality; analytics (Google Analytics) to understand how the Site is used; and the chat widget. You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, an on-site cookie control. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works.

6. International transfers

Some of our providers process data outside your country. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect the data.

7. Retention

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable follow-up period. Client and billing records are kept for as long as the law requires (typically several years). Access credentials are removed at the end of an engagement. Analytics data is retained according to the provider’s settings.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to withdraw consent. To exercise a right, email hello@solvforge.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

The Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date shown above.
